Sergiu Natra  was born in Romania on the 12 April 1924. He received his musical education at the National Conservatoire, Bucharest. In 1961 Natra and his wife Sonia, emigrated to Israel.

Natra was a music teacher and composer, he is known for his harp compositions which are performed worldwide.
