Perlau Yn Y Glaw - Mared Emlyn

A series of five dances for the harp inspired by the sense there is rhythm around us and in everything we do. The idea for the title cames from the idea that raindrops shine like pearls on leaves.

This work was awarded the Music Competition Medal at the Urdd National Eisteddfod in Swansea 2011. The adjudicators are quoted as saying:

"Perlau is a virtuoso work...and a valuable contribution to the harp repertoire."
